A Day in the life of a sports star


Lisa Carrington first had breakfast, soon after she woke up. She finished her breakfast and she went to Rio, Brazil on a super fast jet plane.  When she was there she saw her coach and her coach said to go and warm up for her race in 
After rowing when Lisa Carrington's coach was going home he went through the gates and broke his leg because he tripped over the gates and he had to go to the hospital. Lisa Carrington went home to get  changed  fast because she was going to see her coach at the hospital.


After that when the race was finished Lisa Carrington's coach went  through the gates and then he broke his leg.  Lisa Carrington's coach said to her to call the ambulance. When Lisa Carrington called the ambulance Lisa Carrington said that he went through the gates. Then he broke his leg.

Valerie Adams

Valerie Adams  won a gold medal and a silver medal for throwing the shot put.  She was born in Rotorua and is 31 years old. First she had to stand in the middle and she had to hold a heavy ball.  She has to have strong muscles to throw it a long way. Her  throw went past 20 metres.   In shot put if you step out of the small white circle you are disqualified for that throw. When she has thrown they measure the distance.

Free writing

In the weekend I went to Wellington to see my nana and my step sister and brother and mum and dad we went to the airport to Christchurch. To see my real mum and dad and brothers and sisters and we had KFC. For dinner for my sister birthday and we had  chocolate chip cookie cake and strawberries and blueberries and bananas and she invited some of her best friends and she invited her class and her teacher and her boyfriend over to her birthday party. Next year when it her birthday we are going to Rainbow End and we have to her netball game and she won 13 trophies and she was the player of the day 13 times.

Lisa Carrington

Lisa Carrington won a gold medal and she also won a bronze medal.  She is 27 years old and she competes in a small narrow boat called a kayak.  The boat colour is black and white and she came first.  At the closing ceremony Lisa carrington will get to carry the NZ flag. Before the race start Lisa Carrington was doing exercising. When the race started Lisa Carrington went to her small narrow boat.

My weekend

In the weekend I went to pakuranga for my brothers rugby game on Saturday when it was finished we went to my nanas house. After that we went to my Auntys house to go Sylvia park and my big cousins netball game at night because it was late and after that we had fish and chips. When it was finished we went back home and went to sleep.

Cross country


Tomorrow it is cross country for pt England school if someone fall down a kind friend could help. If someone wins the race and they be mean that's not nice or kind. After the race you get a drink of water and see who is the winner. Next it the boys race but there is something they need to do and it is doing exercise and practicing raning.

The race


In the skills you have to listen to your coach and do exercising and practice doing running so you can win the race. After the short race you have to have a drink of water and there was one more lap. Next it was nearly finished and someone won and he got a gold medal. After they were hot and they had another drink of water.

A gold medal


On the weekend Mahe Drysdale won a gold medal from rowing in the Olympics for NZ. He won because he had been listening to his coach and practising or doing exercise. When the race was on Mahe went on his long boat. When he went to the finish line he came first by a photo finish.

Olympics flag


In 1913 In the olympics there were a white background flag with colours on it and it was yellow and green and black and red and blue and the flag was founded and the first flag was used in 1920 and Pierre was the one that he designed the flag and the rings.

My favourite colour is yellow and I want to be a champion at Reading.

Ancient olympics


In ancient Olympic there was boxing and horse racing even there was chariot racing. Later they did discus and javelin. Next they was doing a race with their full armour on their arm.  In the year 791 AD the Olympics banned.
