Venn Diagram, No.2

 

Task Description: This is a Venn Diagram of the two stories on Kiwi Kids News that I read. I read two pieces, one on Sophie Pascoe and the other about Wheel Blacks' major loss. As you may have noticed, the similarities between the two texts I read are in the middle.

Task Description: Today for Literacy, we got given another Venn Diagram to complete about the different articles we had to read, after reading the two different articles we had to complete the Venn Diagram. The two different articles I read were about Lisa Adams, and Tupou Neiufi who are both Paralympians for New Zealand. The middle of the Venn Diagram is the similarities of both Lisa Adams and Tupou Neiufi

Tiktok Tipene!!

 

Task Description: Today we had Electives !, There were different activities we could go to and I chose TikTok Tipene !!. The Dance we learnt was "NambaMoja - Faith Stan". The people that joined were Vika, Ema, Julia , Cherish , Jayah and Sophie as you can see !!. Looking forward to the next Tiktok Dance next week !!

Task Description: Today in Home Class, we got given a task to complete about Attitude - Stress and Anxiety. Stress can affect anyone , its also a little good for you as well , it affects everyone differently. Anxiety is meant to protect us from danger and it allows us to react faster to any emergencies.

Adorable Algebra

 

Task Description: We're discovering about Adorable Algebra and how it works in Math this week. We had to count the number patterns and then count the number of triangles in order to complete this task. This assignment was both simple and difficult, in my opinion.

Task Description: This week for reading Riley and Duff are reading the same thing. Our two books we read were about "Kiwis kids having lockdown birthdays"and "Tips on homeschooling your kids during lockdown". We also had to do a Venn Diagram to compare the same things we read from the article.

Task Description: Mrs Tele'a told her literacy class today that instead of completing our literacy work, we are doing a Cybersmart challenge before moving on to our Writing! Our Cybersmart challenge is to prepare for our Google Meet :)

Task Description: The whole of Team 5 has been rotating to different class rooms, this task was from Rm 3 (Mrs Tele'a), we learnt about Precious McKenzie, the three different flags are about who he represented (only two of them, the New Zealand Flag and England Flag), the South African flag is his Culture!.

Persuasive Writing - Why kids shouldn't get paid to go school

I completely disagree with this option because I believe that if you had the option of being paid to attend to school or being paid to study, you would choose the money. However, this is not a good decision, we did not go to school to get paid, rather we went to learn and receive an excellent education. Paying children to attend school may result in tough conditions.

There will be lots of options for you in conditions of jobs, but you'll also learn about the privileges of your role ( if going to University ). Many people may disagree, but I believe we are too young to get paid at this age; if money is more important to you than your education, you will most likely fail high school and would be unable to get into university.


Task Description: 

Persuasive writing is something that everyone on Team 5 does in literacy.There are agrees and disagrees in persuasive writing, just as there are in an argument. My topic was "Why kids shouldn't get paid to go school".

Violet Walrond - Reading Wk1/2

 

Task Description: For Week 1 & 2 Reading, Duff is learning about Violet Walrond she is an New Zealand Olympian from way back in the days, Violet Walrond is an swimmer from the 1920s
