As I stood at the starting line, waiting for Mr. Burt to yell “Go,” I felt as if...On Friday 1st of September at 1:00 the whole school went on the hard court because it was cross country day. When I went at the start of the race I had butterflies in my tummy and I felt nervous. When Mr Burt said go I was coming 8th and when I got to the finish line I came 9th place and I was embarrassed of myself. When I went to the finish line I went and had a drink because I was thirsty.
I am a Year 8 student student at Pt. England School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 3 and my teacher is Mrs. Tele'a.
