Narrative.

Once upon a time there lived a little girl named Layla.
One morning as Layla woke up, she went for a morning
run to have fresh air Layla eyes then got caught in a forest
she had never seen before… Layla then shook her head and
the forest disappeared as she carried on running, the forest then
appeared once again. Layla then ran backwards to hop in the
forest, as she hopped in the forest it was like she was at Disneyland
it had different types of flowers, trees and many more forest things. 

She was amazed by how the forest looked, she had a look around
at the forest she then saw her school friends, she was wondering why
her friends were there as well. Layla ran up to her friends to ask how
they found the forest, her friends then told her the story.

“So we were walking around the block and doing some shopping for
school supplies, we then walked past a forest then it disappeared and
when we walked back it appeared again and it was so confusing. So we
had to walk in it to see what it was like, we had a walk around the
forest, we tried to go out but we couldn't ....”

Layla made a bad mistake walking in the forest, her friends
told her something else her friends said “We found a note card.
It gave us a clue for the other notes to get us out of here, they walked
in every direction to find other clues for the other note cards….

Layla and her friends kept on trying to find a note card to lead
them to the other card, they searched up and down for any other clues,
a few minutes later we found the clue!. We walked straight past it when
we were trying to find it, in the clue it said “Look up and down, make
sure to keep your eyes open for the next clue, I might be in the bush or
in the tree.” 

It ended there and they were confused they looked up
and down in the trees in the bush but there was nothing.
Layla then looked in the garden and she found clue three
inside it said, “Great you found clue three, you need 5
more to get all 8 clues, to search for clue four I am high not
low but high.” It was getting dark and they didn’t
get time to look for clue four so they took a rest next
to the river, the next morning as they woke up they could
hear people walking past the forest without noticing it, they
yelled but no one could hear them or see the forest so they just
carried on with finding four number four.

As they were finding clue four they looked on the trees there was
nothing but then they looked high on the bush and it was there but
the clue was up high that they couldn’t reach it so they tried standing
on each other backs and shoulders but that didn’t work they tried
everything until one of Layla friend found a ladder. So they told
Layla to climb up the ladder because she wasn’t scared of heights
but the others were. So Layla climbed up the ladder and grabbed
the next clue, in the clue it said “You have now found clue five I am
somewhere far from the entrance, you will need 3 more clues to get
the mystery key to get out of the forest. For clue six I am low on the
ground.”

They searched in the same places again just in case there were more clues in the same spot. There weren't any clues so they had to make a decision to go far from the entrance of where they came from, it took them hours to find clue six they found a big mountain and they went up that mountain. They climbed up the mountain, they could see everything, they saw the main entrance, they saw rows of flowers, but they had to do something for them to get out of the forest……

It got dark but they couldn’t find the other clue so they camped on the mountain. They had some food to eat, but Layla wasn’t hungry at all; she was only thirsty for a drink, after that they went to sleep…… Morning came when they woke up, got everything sorted for clue six, Layla walked around the mountain and she found….. Clue six and they walked straight past it when they were walking around the mountain. Layla then shouted “ Guys I found clue six!!!!” Her friends then went running to her, and they were so excited because they wanted to go out of the forest because there was really nothing for them to do.

In the clue it said “ Clue six…. You just have to find clue 7 and clue 8, for clue 7, look even far from the mountain you are on right now, here is one more clue, the note is not white it is red…” 

The clue stopped there. They were tired of walking far and far, but they had no choice so they had to walk to get that second to last clue…

As they were walking to find the other clue Layla was getting distracted from the flowers on the ground and couldn’t help it so she picked out 10 flowers from the garden. Her friends kept on walking without her, so Layla stood up and ran all the way to the other mountain to see if clue 7 was there….. 

She did a few turn around to see if her friends were catching up to her when she was running, as she turned again she saw then running to her so she ran as fast as she could……

She did a few rounds round the mountain to find the clue and she found clue 7 on the floor and clue 8!, Layla was happy that clue 7 and clue 8 was by its side…… Layla opened clue 7 and clue 8 and they had the same words, so Layla looked behind clue 8 on the back to see if there was a different note written and there was…. She read it and it led her to the key to open the back door to get out.

As she opened the door she was happy and her friends were also happy….The End

Lava Narrative Day 3

Maui then found another volcano in the ocean as well, he wondered why but at the same time he was nervous to go to her. Her name was Qilani Maui then went back to its normal size no more of the smoke came out, he was really happy to be back to normal. Maui and Qilani were looking at each other confused, they were still in the ocean and they grew bigger and bigger like a normal volcano.

Qilani was happy to see another volcano because she was left alone in the ocean, for years. Maui was shy to talk to Qilani so Qilani said “Hi” to Maui and said “Hi” back to her. Maui and Qilani went out of the ocean and carried on living happily, they got their grass back and all the happy things, Maui then got happier and happier because his friend the whale visited him, and splashing water all around Maui………………..THE END

Lava Narrative Day 2

Middle: As Maui woke up she was gone even smaller than before, he was
so sad no whales or animals showed up as usual, Maui had grey smoke
coming out of him he was surrounded by more ocean water then the grass
he had on him. Maui was getting smaller every hour, he didn’t know what to
do when he was getting smaller, but Maui was healthy and he didn’t know
why this was happening to him. Hours pass by and he is getting smaller
and smaller, doesn’t know what to do, animals then went past but didn’t
stop by the swim by him which is really sad.

More hours passed by and he went smaller and smaller, one hour
came by and he is now in the ocean, he couldn’t go up but on land
he was surrounded by more water and rocks under the ocean. He
then saw a whale and was so happy but went past and he got even
sadder. Minutes past by, days past by and Maui was getting even
smaller…..

Lava Narrative Day 1

Beginning: Once upon a time there lived a volcano in Tuvalu its name
was Maui, Maui lived happily in his country (Tuvalu) he had animals
swimming around him and he was happy about that. His most favourite
animal was the whale because every morning he goes and swims
around him, his age is about 99 or 101 which is really old. He had grass
and trees all over him, and people will always hike on him and it feels
ticklish when people hike. There is one secret about him, if two rocks
disappear from his rock collection he will explode, but he is still a happy
volcano. Maui is a really kind volcano. He will do anything for other
volcanoes in Tuvalu.

As it went into night Maui was getting tired and tired, his eyes closed,
he started snoring and couldn't hear anything at all. It then went into
midnight hours past and then it came Sunrise, he woke up and he had
a happy sunny morning, he also had different visitors and he was so happy
… A few minutes later he went back to sleep because he was really tired.

Choose It Writing

Task Description: So everyday for Literacy on our task we pick something to do, I chose the pink box ( Write a narrative (Story) of your choice. Be sure to write for at least 20 minutes).

Once upon a time lived a young girl named Maria, she lived in New Zealand. One morning she went for a walk until she saw a forest named Crystal Nation, her eyes caught the forest and she didn't want to be distracted but she still got distracted from the forest. So she entered that forest, she had a little experience around the forest, Maria then searched up the forest and it said that it was opened millions years ago but ever since it was closed no one had been back in the forest because they were terrified. Maria then turned her phone off and carried on exploring the forest, she was amazed of how it looked because there were lots of beautiful flowers and more nature things. She then found a lake, she was also amazed from the lake she then she thought it would be a good idea to take photos and send them to her parents, as she took some photos she sent it to her parents but unfortunately there was no signal so she couldn't send anything or post anything online or send them to her parents. There was one big problem she thought she was the only person in the forest but unfortunately there were other people so she hid behind a tree and was seeing what they were up to, she heard them and when they went around the corner from where she was standing she could see it was her friends. She was so suspicious of what they were doing in the forest, she was recording them on her phone so that whatever they were talking about she would send it to her group chat. Next then she went to go and find things for her shelter for the night she then got caught from her friends her friends said "Come with us we have plenty of shelter for you to keep warm and also keep dry".  She then followed them to their shelter, and she was also hungry so they gave her food to eat, she had a mice and cheese pie and also had Tropical Juice to drink, after that she went to sleep, The next morning she tired finding her way out of the forest, she woke up before her friends woke up. Maria spent hours trying to find her way out but she couldn't so she tired finding her friends so she could hang out with them, Maria spent 2 hours finding her friends until she found them, she wanted to go back home because she hasn't seen her parents she also knew that she would get in trouble but she still manged to stay in the forest. It then was getting dark and Maria went with her friends to the shelter they had Dinner, their dinner was Potatoes and Chicken for their drinks they had Coke and Sprite. After that they had a little slummer party and fell asleep.......The next morning as they woke up they all did their morning routine and went looking for a way out of the forest, it took them hours until one of Maria friends found a map inside her bag and then they followed the path on the map, another hour passed by and they found their way out, next thing they did, is that they went their own ways without saying goodbye. As Maria arrived back home she was happy to see her parents and her parents and siblings were also happy to see her back at home, as she got home she did her chores for her parents, so that she makes them even happier.

Six Sentences Story

1.  Once upon a time on a sunny hot morning, I felt like going to Long Bay Beach, so then I changed into my swimming togs, I grabbed my clothes and put it on top of my togs. Next I rang my friend Leylani and asked if she wanted to go to Long Bay Beach and she accepted it, so then I packed my spare clothes and my towel to get dried in and to get change into. After that I went to the Car and went to Leylani House. I picked her up and then we went to Long Bay Beach.

2. When I got to Leylani house, she was already outside waiting so then I yelled out “ Hop in the car we are going” So then Leylani came in the car and we drove off to Long Bay Beach it was a long way to Long Bay Beach.

3. As we were still driving we stopped at Countdown to get some food
and some drinks, the food we got was Chips, Donuts, and much more
food, the drinks we got were Tropical Juice,Apple Juice, Orange Juice
and some Fizzy Drinks. Then we went to the check out to pay for our
food and drinks, next we went back in the car and drove off.

4. As we arrived at Long Bay Beach we unpacked the car and then we put
all our drinks in a cooler and our food/snacks in a big shopping bag.
Next we went to go and find a spot to sit. We found a spot with
shade and so then we went to that spot, we went to the toilets
to put on our togs and then we went back out to our spot, as we
sat down we grabbed out some snacks to eat we ate for 10 minutes
and then we started talking for about 5 minutes and then we went
to the water. Leylani and I went to the water and we started swimming,
until Leylani went out further and she got surrounded by Sharks.

5. Leylani got so terrified because she couldn’t get out from the
surrounded Sharks, she was screaming because it was really big
sharks that she didn’t know what to do. She was also drowning in
the water and it was getting worse because more  sharks were coming
in and she was screaming even louder which hurt my ears. Leylani felt
that way because it was really scared of sharks and it was her worst fear.

6. So then I went out of the water and went looking for lifeguards
to get her out of the water, it took me so long because there were
hardly any lifeguards on the beach so then, I waited for the lifeguards
at the same time I was panicking, around 5:15 lifeguards were there.
So then I asked them if they could save my friend Leylani,
they answered “ Yea sure we’ll save your friend”, so then they rushed
off to find Leylani in the ocean. About 6:23 Leylani was out of the
ocean and I was so happy that she was still alive but she got bitten on
the leg from the Shark, so then the Lifeguard bandaged her leg.

My Choose It Narrative

Choose It Narrative

Once upon a time, on a sunny Friday Morning I was swimming so far from home that
I didn’t know where I was going. I was in the middle of the ocean. I saw a big rock ahead,
I swam to the rock and then I jumped out of the ocean and on the rock. I stayed
on the rock for a few minutes, the sun was shining so bright that I was getting
burnt from the sun. so then I hopped back in the ocean and swam off. As I was
swimming I saw my worst enemy, the 2 big fat sharks, so I went back the other
way, as I was swimming I was so tired that I didn’t know which way I came from.
So then I went in different directions and I came back to the same spot, so then
I went back to the big rock and slept there for the night. The next morning
I woke up and then I went back in the ocean, and went to the direction that the sharks were at,
apparently the sharks were not there so then I swam on I got caught up in the big fishing net, I
tired to get out but I couldn’t so then I saw other Mermaids swimming having some fun,
so then I called out to the other Mermaids and asked them for help. So then they came and tried to get me out of the big fishing net, it took so long for them to get me out because it was a really big fishing net and it was hard to open as well. Next came two big fat sharks which were my worst enemy and I couldn’t stand staying in the big fishing net with the Sharks because if they eat me I wouldn’t make it out of the big fat fishing net. A few minutes later little fishes came in and it couldn’t help it I wanted to get out. But I couldn’t because the ropes/net were pretty strong that none of us could rip open so that we could be free, next the fishermen were pulling up the big net, and I started yelling because I didn’t want to leave my kingdom and I knew it wasn’t the best thing I did, and then the Mermaids and Merman's started doing their plan to how to get us out of the big fishing net.  They grabbed some things and tried cutting the big net, one hour later we got out and the fishermen pulled their net back up and then the boat went off empty handed and I was happy that I was free, but there was only one thing to do say sorry to my parents that I was not home and that I missed out on Mermaid school. So I swam off back to the Kingdom and as I got there I entered the gates and there it was my parents angry face was not happy with me , so then I got in big trouble and I had to discuss it with my parents why I wasn’t back and why I missed out on Mermaid school. I had to explain everything I had to tell them twice because they were not happy with me, after I had explained why I was not home they accepted my apologies and they let me go to my room and have a sleep for the next morning. As I woke up my parents were in my room and they told me to do all the chores because I didn’t do it yesterday or the day before yesterday, it was a really boring day because I had to do the chores all day and I was not happy about it was managed to get all the chores done.

Task Description: Last Week I finished my Narrative Writing, I had to tell my Literacy class because I got picked to stand up and tell my story to the class.

My Panda Story

Once in a country called China  there was Baby Panda’s that was really hungry. So they were going inside going to the owner. So the owner was filling up the panda’s bowl. After when the owner who looks after the panda’s was drinking one panda had left because he was tried so he went to the owner and went to his bed. After when all the panda’s had finish the panda’s wanted to eat some food. So the owner had put some panda food in their bowl. After that she went back inside to eat dinner and go have a shower so early that morning the owner woke up and check on the panda’s and the panda’s were still asleep so the owner had to make them breakfast so once all of the panda’s had woke up they had went outside to go and eat breakfast so the first one to wake up was the one in the front row. So the owner had to wake up the others so that they could eat breakfast and go run around the field on the snow. After when they had eat they wanted to go inside but not outside because it was so so cold and when they got inside they wanted to go back to sleep because the owner had woke them up so early in the morning so that the owner had got them in bed and grabbed their blankets because it was cold and they couldn’t handle it and once the owner put the blanket on they were really comfortable so they had cuddle up and they had got really warm so in the afternoon they had woke up and had lunch they had healthy panda food. So once they woke up they wanted to play and run around the field.
